چکیده

The development of complex access control architectures raises the problem of their management. In this article, we describe an architecture providing packet filters configuration in Internet based networks. The performance of the access control process heavily depends on the number of rules used to define the access control service. Therefore an efficient access control architecture relies on a clever access control rule configuration. The current approaches to this problem are based on a static description of the network which can force security officers to choose between efficiency and manageability. Our distribution architecture doesn’t rely on a model of the network and thus eliminates this limitation while proposing three optimisations in order to provide the access control processes with optimal configurations.

Optimum sub-packet transmission for turbo-coded hybrid ARQ systems

Turbo codes are popular for their near-shannon capacity of bit-error-rate (BER) at low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with long packet lengths. They have been proposed in automatic-repeat-request (ARQ) systems as the forward-error correction (FEC) codes. Although sub-packet schemes were proposed in ARQ systems, optimum sub-packet transmission is more effective to maximize throughput in a dynamic c...

Guaranteed in-order packet delivery using Exclusive Dynamic Virtual Channel Allocation

In-order packet delivery, a critical abstraction for many higher-level protocols, can severely limit the performance potential in low-latency networks (common, for example, in network-on-chip designs with many cores). While basic variants of dimension-order routing guarantee in-order delivery, improving performance by adding multiple dynamically allocated virtual channels or using other routing...

Efficient Demultiplexing of Network Packets by Automatic Parsing

Packet filters are a mechanism for efficiently demultiplexing network packets to application endpoints. There is currently no general, formal specification method for packet filters that allows for easy or efficient composition of specifications. In this paper we present an automatic approach that achieves all of these goals. We approach packet filter specification as a language recognition pro...

Optimized computational Afin image algorithm using combination of update coefficients and wavelet packet conversion

Updating Optimal Coefficients and Selected Observations Affine Projection is an effective way to reduce the computational and power consumption of this algorithm in the application of adaptive filters. On the other hand, the calculation of this algorithm can be reduced by using subbands and applying the concept of filtering the Set-Membership in each subband. Considering these concepts, the fir...

Evaluation of Packet-by-Packet Downlink Radio Resource Management Schemes

The OFDM based terrestrial digital video broadcasting system (DVB-T) can be utilized for asymmetric Internet access with a downlink peak bit rate of 10-20Mbps. A narrow-band cellular communications system can be used as uplink. This paper is a comparison of centralized dynamic radio resource management schemes for this downlink packet radio system. Spectrum efficiency in bit/s/Hz/transmitter, a...
